The subtle variations in texture and weave are part of what gives each piece its quiet character. Yes. Every piece is handwoven on an ATBM (Alat Tenun Bukan Mesin), a traditional non-mechanical loom operated by hand and foot. This slower, more intentional process allows each rug to carry the natural character of the human hand.

Each rug is photographed as accurately as possible, though slight differences in tone may appear depending on lighting and screen settings. Because our rugs are handwoven, small variations in weave, texture, or grain are to be expected and are considered part of the piece’s uniqueness.

Yes. Because each rug is woven by hand on a traditional loom, slight variations in size are a natural part of the making process. We recommend allowing a tolerance of up to 10 cm in the final dimensions. These subtle differences are part of the character of a handmade piece and not considered defects.

Yes. Our rugs are made to be lived with and enjoyed as part of daily life. We do recommend avoiding prolonged direct sunlight, as this may soften or slightly change the colour over time. Rather than taking away from the piece, we see this as part of its beauty; a gentle evolution that gives the rug more character the longer it lives in your home.

We recommend gentle, regular care to preserve the character of your piece. Light shaking, vacuuming on a low setting, and attending to spills promptly will help maintain it over time. Before first use, we suggest gently combing the surface to remove any loose lint from the weaving process. As with any handwoven textile, prolonged direct sunlight should be avoided, as it may gradually soften or shift the colour over time. A detailed care guide will also be provided with every purchase, so you can care for your rug with confidence at home.

We work with two types of cotton in our collections: upcycled cotton waste and pure cotton. Each brings its own quality to the weave, resulting in rugs that feel soft underfoot, durable in use, and naturally textured. This balance allows us to create pieces that are both considered and made for modern living.

Because each rug is handwoven, slight variations in colour, size, and pattern are a natural part of the making process and are not considered defects. For this reason, we are unable to accept returns based on these variations. However, if your rug arrives with damage, please contact us upon receiving it and we will be happy to assist.

Yes. If a piece has sold out, please feel free to contact us about preorder possibilities. Depending on the design, material availability, and weaving schedule, we may be able to create it again for you.

Yes. We ship throughout Indonesia and abroad. Please note that the prices listed on our website do not include shipping costs. Delivery details will be shared as part of the ordering process.
