• Jalini: Handwoven for Modern Homes

At Jalini, we’ve always felt that a home is more than just a place; it’s a feeling. It’s the warmth of a throw on the sofa, the texture of a rug under your feet, and the knowledge that the things you surround yourself with were made with intention.

Our products are made to bridge the distance between ancestral Indonesian craft and the rhythm of contemporary living, creating pieces that are as intentional as they are beautiful. No factory machine, every one of our pieces begins on an ATBM (Alat Tenun Bukan Mesin), a traditional loom powered by the hands and feet of our artisans in Java and Bali.

Because a human being is at the heart of the process, the weave has a life of its own. You might find a slight shift in the grain or a subtle variation in the tension. To us, these aren't flaws; they are the beautiful proof that someone intentionally sat at a loom for hours to create something just for you. It means that the piece in your home is truly one of a kind.

Luxury, to us, is the ability to create something beautiful while being kind to the earth. That's why we've chosen to work with upcycled cotton waste. We take high-quality remnants from the textile industry and give them a second life, spinning them into the soft, durable yarns that make up our collections.

We also believe that soulful design should be accessible. By partnering directly with our weavers and reimagining existing materials, we've found the "sweet spot"-offering the quality of a singular, master-crafted piece at a price that fits into a modern life. This is luxury without the pretense, made to be lived with and loved every day.
